In 1986 “The Medicine Shoppe” began serving Delmarva as the new pharmacy in town. Over the years local pharmacist and owner, Jeff Farace saw the need to move into a new direction, primarily focusing on boosting excellent customer service to his community. In 2005 he changed the pharmacy from being a franchise to an independently owned pharmacy. The name of the pharmacy also went through a major change from “The Medicine Shoppe” to “Community Pharmacy”, ideally promoting Jeff’s vision of what his “new” pharmacy would be all about: community.
Jeff’s staff at Community Pharmacy reflects his motto, “a cheerful heart is good medicine” as they are constantly serving their customers with excellent care. Community Pharmacy stands behind its name and continues to offer superior customer service to the public. By offering quality prescriptions as well as outstanding customer service, Community Pharmacy stands as a place committed to serving Delmarva.
